NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The victim of a deadly shooting at a North Nashville KFC on Wednesday has been identified, according to Metro Nashville Police Department. MNPD says 40-year-old Christopher Ray Smith, of Nashville, was killed when 30-year-old Isaiah Maston started shooting at him during an argument.

Nashville Police were called to the restaurant, across the street from the Tennessee State Museum, Wednesday afternoon and found the 40-year-old victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The man, identified in court records as Christopher Ray Smith, was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died, police said in a news release.

Police said one person was shot in the parking lot of a KFC near Jefferson Street and Rosa L. Parks Boulevard outside of downtown Nashville.

Isaiah Alexander Maston has been charged with criminal homicide and aggravated assault after a 40-year-old man was shot and killed in the parking lot of a KFC on Rosa

Police said the victim did not know the alleged shooter.
