A Missouri judge has blocked many of the state's anti-abortion laws. The order Thursday by Jackson County Circuit Judge Jerri Zhang reimposes a preliminary injunction against the abortion restrictions.

For the third time, a Jackson County judge ruled that Missouri's abortion restrictions cannot be enforced under Amendment 3. Planned Parenthood said its Kansas City clinic will resume services on Monday,

Patients will now be able to schedule appointments for abortion care in Missouri. Police are searching for an Iowa driver who left a bar patron in Independence with life-threatening injuries. Those who may have been witnesses to a string of burglaries in the Piper neighborhood have been asked to call police.
