The Senate has passed the fiscal year (FY) 2026 defense authorization bill, voting 77-20 to send the measure to President Donald Trump, who has said he will sign it.

The 2025 National Defense Authorization Act will ban biological males from women's sports at U.S. military academies after passing the Senate 77-20.

The annual National Defense Authorization Act, which raises troop pay by 3.8%, gained bipartisan backing as it moved through Congress.

Trump signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for 2026, which includes significant provisions for Ellsworth Air Force Base and Watertown.

The Senate approved the Fiscal Year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act. Sen. Tim Kaine celebrated provisions he helped secure, from shipbuilding investments to a repeal of the 1991 and 2002 AUMFs.
