Joey Ortiz homered twice and Caleb Durbin added a three-run shot as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 9-3 on Tuesday.

Joey Ortiz hit two home runs and drove in four runs and Caleb Durbin added a home run, three RBIs and two runs to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 9-3 victory over the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday night.

In the top of the 6th inning, Pittsburgh finally got on the scoreboard when Nick Gonzales ripped a 3-run homer to center field. That closed the gap, 7-3 Brewers. Brewers pitcher Freddy Peralta was pulled from the game at that point. The Brewers added two more runs to ice the game.
