ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Cale Makar had a goal and two assists, Nathan MacKinnon secured his fourth consecutive 100-point season with a third-period assist, and the NHL-leading Colorado Avalanche snapped the Anaheim Ducks' five-game winning streak with a 5-1 victory Tuesday night.
The Anaheim Ducks host the New York Islanders at Honda Center on Wednesday, March 4 at 10 p.m. ET. The matchup airs on ESPN+. Anaheim's most recent game was a 5-1 home loss against the Colorado Avalanche on March 3.

Vatrano (shoulder) was activated off injured reserve by the Ducks on Wednesday, per the NHL media site. Vatrano has been sidelined due to a shoulder injury since late December, but he resumed practicing recently and will presumably be available to return to the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Islanders.
