A "school-aged" child in Lamoille County caught measles after traveling internationally, according to the Vermont health department. Public risk is reportedly low.

Vermont’s health department has confirmed the first case of measles in the state this year. A Lamoille County child tested positive Monday night after returning from an international trip. Health officials believe that the risk is low because the child has remained mostly isolated.
