Adrien Brody, who in 2003 became the youngest person to collect a best actor Oscar, broke another record while accepting his second statuette Sunday.

Brody, who won Best Actor for "The Brutalist," referenced partner Georgina Chapman and Weinstein's children in his speech: "Thank you for accepting me," he said.

Brody's lengthy acceptance speech on Sunday night beats the record of 5 minutes and 30 seconds held by Greer Garson, according to Guinness World Records, when she won for 'Mrs. Miniver' in 1943.

The "Brutalist" star broke a Guinness World Record after speaking for five minutes and 36 seconds while accepting his award at Sunday's ceremony.

Other theatre acting nominees include Lesley Manville, Ben Whishaw, John Lithgow and Imelda Staunton.

Brody twice demanded that the orchestra stop trying to play him off so he could continue talking for a record-breaking 5-plus minutes.
