GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - The Gators came into Saturday with a 10-game win streak over Tennessee in the Swamp, but that streak would come to a close following a 31-11 demolition. The No. 20 Vols found the endzone on their first four possessions and led Florida 31-0 at the half.

Meyer has long been considered by many to be the next inductee into the Ring of Honor, which currently includes quarterback Tim Tebow, linebacker Wilbur Marshall, quarterback Danny Wuerffel, defensive end Jack Youngblood, running back Emmitt Smith and quarterback/head coach Steve Spurrier.

UF celebrated former coach Urban Meyer at the Tennessee game and announced that he’ll enter Gators’ Ring of Honor in 2026.

Joakim Noah had a great run in college playing for the Florida Gators. Among the things that stood out for him back then were their battles with the Villanova Wildcats in the NCAA Tournament. He looked back at them on his appearance on "The Roommates Show" podcast of Nova standouts and New York Knicks teammates Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson.

The Tennessee Volunteers have a chance to win their first game against the Florida Gators on the road since 2003. This is a very tough task to ask, but the Tennessee program feels they are ready for their next test. As for Florida, its post-regular-season hopes were crushed last week. This game gives the Gators some hope to play with.
