A vigil was expected to be held for the ship’s two fallen crew members Wednesday afternoon in Brooklyn with Mayor Adams expected to attend.

Investigators are determined to figure out why the ship accelerated backwards, directly into the Brooklyn Bridge with 277 sailors and naval officers onboard.

Investigators say whatever went wrong happened within the span of five minutes, between the time the ship pulled away from a dock and hit the bridge.
