A Ukrainian F-16 pilot was killed intercepting Russian aerial attacks on Ukraine overnight, Kyiv's air force said, in what a Ukrainian official described as Moscow's largest-scale air attacks on the country since the start of the war.

Russia used hundreds of drones, cruise and ballistic missiles to attack western, southern and central Ukraine overnight, damaging homes and infrastructure and injuring at least six people, local authorities said.
