Our work to stabilise the wall at West Bay harbour is proceeding well. We're installing 35 metres of steel sheet piling to the toe of the wall and filling in any holes that have opened up. We're still on track to ensure that the adjacent food and drink kiosks are able to open before the Easter holidays. | Dorset Council

If you've been to West Bay recently you will have noticed the large sediment and shingle build-up at the harbour's entrance - and the 80m crane we now have in place to remove this storm debris. The recent south-easterly storms have seen one of the largest amounts of debris washed up here. We've not seen this amount in the last two decades.
