Big things happening at the Belle Isle Aquarium! This summer kicks off $10 million in upgrades to protect and preserve this 121-year-old Detroit landmark — including heat for winter, cool air for summer, and major foundation work. The doors stay open while we build for the future. Funded by American Rescue Plan dollars, managed with care by the Christman Historic Preservation team.
