Getting some backhand work in. Working on balls hit harder to my right, I was taking a deeper angle to get to the ball. The second clip shows the drill I do to work on that. Hitting an outside pitch. •Let the ball travel deeper before making contact. I usually place the tee on the inside of the stride foot. Catching it out front will cause you to hit on the end of the barrel. •Stay connected. Don’t throw your hands out. Sequence correctly so you can still keep your power. •Hit the inside of the ball and drive it opposite field. •Keep the shoulder tilt so your hands can stay through the zone as long as possible. •Keep your head down. | MegRem Softball
