I wanted to do something fun to honor my @patreon investors this year, so I’m starting a little wall of Patrons in my studio. My Patreon fam keeps me going when I feel like I’m screaming into the algorithmic void. I share demos, rambles, vlogs—they heard ASMR last year as soon as I wrote it, along with the backstory over an audio newsletter. Some subscribers are family and friends—others I’ve never met and/or live halfway around the world. Together, they’ve become my safe space on the Internet.
