For the residents of Williamstown Road: I have good news! When the West Gate Tunnel opens, there will be a truck curfew at nighttime and on weekends, enforced by national-first data cameras. My thoughts exactly Premier. This is why we do it, why Labor Governments set out ambitious plans to make our state better. It's for Victorians, to make their lives easier, better and smoother. Thank you to everyone who rode the Metro Tunnel on its first day, and thank you to everyone for your patience while we built this monumental project. | Katie Hall MP

I’m very proud to have secured an $8.7 million upgrade for Footscray Community Arts - a space that will be transformative for Melbourne’s inner west. 🎭🌳 Last week, members of the team behind the project came together to plant natives at the beautiful new Amphitheatre and Lango stage, which is set to open Mid 2026. Brought to you by the Allan-Labor government ❤️ | Katie Hall MP

Next steps for the old Footscray Hospital! 📣 Last week was historic with the opening of our New Footscray Hospital. With the big move complete, work is now underway to decommission the old hospital site. Here’s what I had to say about next steps for the old site at the opening of the new hospital. I will continue to keep the community informed. | Katie Hall MP

The Allan Labor Government is taking real action on air quality. The Allan Labor Government gave the City of Maribyrnong more than 1 million dollars to seal Francis Street to improve air quality. Frustratingly, it has taken 3.5 years for works to commence. Now, we’re finally seeing some action. 👏 | Katie Hall MP

🗣 Susan Hall spoke to GB News, advocating for more "assertive policing" and warning that "trust and confidence has to improve in the Met." "We've got to change that, we have to go back to years gone by where people would go ask a Police Officer if they were in trouble." | City Hall Conservatives

On his first visit as Children’s Minister, Josh MacAlister MP came to Warrington to see how £2.3 million of government funding is transforming care for children and young people across our town. This funding is helping to: ✅ Revamp the Foster4 recruitment hub, making it easier to become a foster carer ✅ Provide stronger mentoring and practical support for foster families ✅ Deliver real improvements in care and protection for local children It also backs our first-of-its-kind hub in Warrington, a

Rogue builders are ruining lives, and the system still isn’t stopping them. I raised this in Parliament because it’s not a one-off issue. People let me into the hardest moments of their lives, they sit in my surgery, exhausted and upset, because the place that should feel safest now feels like a building site they can’t escape from. One local family did everything we tell people to do. They were careful, not careless. I pressed Ministers for clearer rules, stronger enforcement and proper safegua

Each November, our town comes together to remember. At memorials across Warrington, poppies rustle in the wind and generations stand side by side. That silence carries more than a century of courage and sacrifice. The bravery of those who never came home, the strength of those who did, and the gratitude of all of us who owe them more than words can ever express. This morning at the Cenotaph, and at services across Warrington, from Penketh to Thelwall, Stockton Heath to the town centre, we stood

Susan Hall has promised to become the first "female Labour mayor" for London in a slip of the tongue. The Tory mayoral candidate gave an upbeat speech at Conservative Party Conference about her chances of defeating Sadiq Khan in next year's election. But she ended with a gaffe at the fringe event, accidentally claiming to have switched sides. She quickly corrected herself. #london #bbcnews | BBC London

In the Commons yesterday I raised something many people here already know. Parts of Warrington are doing well, but others are among the most deprived in the country. One neighbourhood ranks 899th nationally for deprivation, another sits at 33,480th. A gap of over 32,500 places. A difference that large inside one town tells its own story. But when the Government averages all the data together, those differences get hidden. And when they’re hidden, the communities who most need support risk missin

Earlier today, during my second question of the day in Parliament, I raised concerns about autism assessment waiting times. According to NHS data, while the number of people waiting has started to level out, the time they’re waiting has soared. On average, it’s now around 200 days longer than a year ago. Families are doing everything right, but the system isn’t working. Integrated Care Boards should be following the NHS England national framework to make assessments consistent and reduce delays.
