In 2009, Whitney sat down for an interview with Oprah at Town Hall in New York City and discussed her history with the storied venue! On Saturday, February 15, it all comes full circle with "The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration, featuring original master recordings of Whitney's vocals set to new orchestrations of her biggest hits! This special show will be conducted by maestro Sean Hayes and will feature Pops of Color, New York City's first pop orchestra composed of musicians of color.

In this small interview clip from 1992, #Whitney referred to herself as "The Voice". She went on to say that she was born with the "gift to sing", and that she didn't have to show off her body to be successful.
