I love hiking with dogs so much that I often take my own dogs to do trail checks ✅ What am I checking for? ➡️ any safety hazards such as downed trees, dangerous/broken fences, garbage dogs could get into 😤, difficult terrain or too close to roads, etc ➡️ the presence of wildlife-I check for tracks and scan the surroundings (yes this is constantly changing but my dogs quickly let me know of anything around & I can determine if it’s too risky for example if we see a porcupine or it’s tracks we’ll
