Feeding my female Indian ornamental tarantula (Poecilotheria regalis) a discoid cockroach. The Poecilotheria genus represents some of my favourite tarantula species on the planet. Their cryptic appearance, ornamental patterns, colours and size make them such striking animals. Unfortunately, this entire genus is endangered; some species are potentially even extinct in the wild, primarily due to habitat loss through deforestation. Follow for more specialty pet content!
