Sicanje (also called bocanje or traditional south slavic tattooing) is an old tattooing tradition practiced mainly among Catholic Bosniaks in Bosnia and Herzegovina and parts of Dalmatia, but it is was also practiced in other south slavic countries. Its origins are probably pre - christian.
