We were out and needed some for the soup for tonight so I made more real quick this morning. We had chicken enchiladas for supper. Cooking from scratch requires preparing and making time to get things done. I started at about 2:30 by making the tortilla dough so it had enough time to rest. Not only do we make our own food, I make the soap we wash our dishes with! The liquid soap is simple. Just take about 5-7 soap nuts (yes thats a real thing) and soak them in a jar of hot water for about 24 hours. I always use a 1/2 gallon jar. Then for the hard water remover stuff we use a mixture of baking soda, salt (we use the crappy table salt for this not our good redmond salt), about 50 drops essential oil of your choice, and citric acid. You can scale to fit your container but ours holds
