Makaton nursery rhymes

Makaton is a unique form of sign language that uses speech, signs and symbols as a form of communication with individuals who have communication or learning difficulties. It is particularly useful for communicating for children who have difficulty with understanding concepts or have poor literacy skills and children of determination. At our Mudon nursery, where we have a fully staffed SEN department we use Makaton as a means of communication and all children at the nursery have Makaton lessons.
