Honestly, we haven’t always enjoyed our sailing as much since we left La Rochelle in France. We’ve been super scared of encountering the orcas. July 18th ended up being our last night sail and our first experience with a PAN PAN call on the radio because of orca encounters. Since then we’ve only done day sails, heard several encounters on the radio, followed their activity on several apps and talking with people who weren’t as lucky as us. Honestly, it has been such a hassle and very stressful.
