I saw her for 2 minutes, gave her a kiss, then had to have a long emotional meeting with hospital staff. When I came back to her I found her like this … sleeping peacefully. On 31st December Jane will be transferred to Stoke specialist stroke unit for her pre med and will undergo her craniotomy surgery to replace her skull on 2nd January. Although there are risks with this operation & it will involve a stay in intensive care again, it’s necessary to give Jane a chance of a better recovery.
